K’s creative nonfiction essay “The Only Functional Neurological Disorder Diagnosis I’m Willing to Accept” appeared in Issue 6 (Winter 2024) of The Linden Review. TLR is a biannual, online journal produced by faculty and students in English, the English MA, low-residency MFA, and Medical Humanities programs at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and with the University of Nebraska Medical Center. The journal’s mission is to publish high-quality creative nonfiction that investigates the complexities of the word health, defined broadly, with work that explores a deeper understanding and appreciation of bodily, emotional, spiritual, social, and environmental well-being.
